Color Sheep Reviews!

Sir Woolson has held the line against thousands of wolves since we launched Color Sheep last week, so I’d like to take a moment to highlight a bunch of our glowing reviews while Woolson takes a much-needed break!

“…play enough, and your once-fumbling fingertips will be flying across the spectrum. You’ll barely notice you’ve learned something without having to crack open a single crusted-over container of paint.”

EntertainmentWeeklyEntertainment Weekly

“What’s a color-changing lamb to do when it’s being attacked by multihued wolves? Incinerate them with lasers beams, obviously, in this whimsical shooting game.”

“I’ve not had this much fun mixing colors since — I’ve never had this much fun mixing colors.”

4/5 GameWoof

“The high level of polish really shows in Color Sheep, elevating it above any other purely high score game I’ve played on Android. Whether you’re going to talk smack about your high score with friends or not, this game is definitely worth buying.”

4/5 Geekenstein

“Color Sheep is a simple, cute and addicting mobile game that’s perfect for playing in short bursts. Thanks to its control scheme and hectic nature, you’ll always find yourself on your toes but never held back by popular touchscreen nuisances.  Color Sheep is not just another sheep in the herd, but an adorably addictive and noble first endeavor by Trinket Studios that should be given a chance by fans of color everywhere.”

4/5 BunchOfGamers

“it’s one of the most interesting experiments I’ve played recently and it works great”

4/5 GameSaku

(Translated) “2D graphics are packed with good | Gameplay that easy to learned from but hard to master | Challenging and addictive to continue to play and reach new hi score”

“If you’re looking for something different and a lot of fun you should lend Sir Woolson a hand and give Color Sheep a go.”

“It’s intense, but the kind of intensity you love to master. “

“This thing has a very simple concept but a gut-punching difficulty level which, frankly, is a welcome challenge.”

“The first time I heard the title Color Sheep I thought it was just another kid’s game that involved some sort of color identification. I was wrong and I’m glad I was.”

“This game scored about a 10 out of 10 on my addictive scale and it’s only $1 in Google Play. Get it.”

And our favorite Youtube review so far from VSauce3 (12 seconds in):

We also have a ton of reviews from fans on Google Play and iOS. We’re very close to 5/5 in both stores! Seeing so many poeple appreciate and enjoy the game is wonderful! Thanks for getting your friends and families involved in the fun fight against Wolfcano!

Hey guys, what an amazing game you made. Fun, simple & challenging & beautiful to look at, as all good games once used to be. I’ve been trying to convince all of my friends to buy, and really look forward to your next works. Highest esteem from Italy!

Thanks ewe! Glad you’re having fun! The Beethoven was pure luck – I was looking for royalty-free music so that we’d be able to test the music system and stumbled on Beethoven. That piece, Symphony No. 8 in F Major, Op. 93, just felt perfect and we never changed it :)

Oh, and the music! Whoever chose Beethoven Made the best choice possible. It seems completely random, but fits unbelievably well!
